How to take part
Well, we decided to release our newest betas to discuss the improvements with you. So go ahead and download the files, unzip them and copy them to your C:\DRS2006 directory.

Be sure that you already have installed at least the Demo version of DRS 2006. If you have and it is working fine you can replace the files with the betas you can download above. Simple as that!

We want you to test all new betas and to send us your comments in the forum. We will do the best we can to build in your requests or remove bugs (if there are any). So you can help us to make DRS 2006 even better. We will tell you what we have done in every new beta below on this page in our "Development Summary".

Because so many registered users are taking part in our interactive development, we will give you a user name and a password to access our secure servers to download the beta files. Simply send us your name and registration key.

If you are not a registered user, you can also take part, but you will only be able to download the Common Beta Modules and Demo Files. You will not need a password to do this.

12/16/08 DRS 2006 TimeSync 3.02
We have done a little mistake in 3.01. Some bay have gotten an error message when starting this module because we forgot to compile a module into the project. This one should now work.

12/10/08 DRS 2006 TimeSync 3.01
This new and more compact update will now also work with Xp,Vista and Vista 64. When using Vista there will be the UAC Popup which you will have to confirm when starting the software.

12/09/08 DRS 2006 LED Radio Clock 3.01
This one will now also work with Xp,Vista and Vista 64. More very soon.

12/09/08 DRS 2006 Webcasting Kit 3.02
This new Webcasting Kit will work with Xp,Vista and Vista 64 and hopefully without any problem with upcoming Windows versions. We will now finally release bunch of updates. First making all Vista compatible and then the missing stuff.

12/29/07 DRS 2006 Internet Broadcaster
Here is the newest DRS 2006 Internet Broadcaster. Newest Encoder, newest stats relay engine and Windows Vista compatible.

12/29/07 Registry Patch
This new patch will be needed for Windows Vista. If you have installed V2.2 (see Radio Forum) then you do not need this.

02/01/07 Audio Manager VISBE 1 All Packages
Here we go. Final round. The newest Audio Manager now has the Version VISBE 1 which means as much as Vista Beta. It is of course ready, but we now built in the Windows Media Player 7-10 interface with all the advantages like digital rights management and also DSP plug ins (like DFX or iZotope - www.wmpplugins.com). Also db-audioware is working on a new version of the Broadcast Processor which will be compatible. The current version will not work! This new Audio Manager works as you may have guessed with Windows Vista and all other Windows versions. BUT: We do not really recommend to switch to Vista this early because many drivers are not working 100% at the moment. We have tested this one with a beta sound card driver from creative and it is working ok, although our XP PCs are still working much better with the good old drivers. So please give the developers some time to update all drivers before you risk to broadcast with Windows Vista.

So what we will do now is to quickly do this change in all current modules. We will then already build full setup files for the new versions, so there is no need to convert your databases if you do not want to. Then we will finalize the STD Package 3.0 which will also not take too long anymore since there is not much missing. We will then finalize the new PRO Package. Finally we will design the last modules of the Enterprise. We know you are all waiting for this version. We are sorry for the delays.
